BOB Recyclers is a vital part of Bangladesh’s industry, supplying recycled steel for construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure. By converting end-of-life vessels into raw materials, the ship recycling industry strengthens the domestic industry, reduces reliance on imported steel, conserves foreign exchange, and supports long-term economic resilience.

We lead Bangladesh’s transition to HKC-compliant Green Ship Recycling Yards, fully aligned with the Hong Kong International Convention, which entered into force globally in 2025. Our certification journey demonstrates regulatory compliance and a new approach to ship recycling.
Through investment and planning, we made our facility environmentally responsible. We created impermeable work zones and modern drainage and waste systems. Our procedures ensure the safe handling of hazardous materials and are guided by comprehensive Ship Recycling Facility Plans. Every vessel is processed with strict traceability, worker safety, and environmental protection.
